When Andie Marriott and her high school sweetheart, Liam Graham, went their separate ways after graduation, she had hoped they would eventually get back together once they finished college. When those hopes were dashed, Andie was determined to move on and find love with someone else. Everything was going well until she discovered her boyfriend of the past five years was cheating on her.

Liam Graham, a confirmed bachelor and serial dater, makes flirting look like a full-time job. He’s only been in one exclusive relationship fifteen years ago with his high school love, Andie. Since Liam and Andie reconnected after college, they’ve been neatly tucked into each other’s friend zone, or as Liam’s grandmother calls it, the safe zone.

When Liam mistakenly invites two women from prestigious families to be his date to an important event, his grandmother and co-founder of the family’s business has had enough of his flirtatious shenanigans and informs him it’s time he settle down if he has any hope of becoming the company’s next CEO.

To improve his image, Liam convinces Andie to be his pretend girlfriend, but navigating their fake relationship proves more challenging than expected as the lines between what’s fake and what’s real become murky.

Liam's Proposal is a dual perspective friends-to-lovers, second-chance, workplace romance. It includes fake dating, a fake engagement, an endearing friend group, and of course, a happily ever after. This is a closed-door romance, which means there are no explicit sex scenes on or off the page. There are some heated kissing-only scenes but none of the spice included in an open-door romance. There is very mild, infrequent use of low-level profanity.
